Success Guide For Using CBD Happy-Furever™ Chews
Here are some important notes from our veterinarian & customers to help you succeed with CBD Happy-Furever™ Chews
Please note that the chews and cookies may arrive broken, but do not worry - as it is supposed to help with dosage control for your dogs.
Here are the various methods to use CBD Chews for your dogs:
- (1) Crush the chews and mix it with their food (recommended for picky dogs)*
- 45 - 90 minutes to take effect.
- (2) You can feed it like a treat (give positive reinforcement to help them associate the activity with a positive experience. Not recommended for picky dogs).
- 20 - 60 minutes to take effect.
Q) I need help with dosing, could you please advice?
Please follow the guidelines on the back of every bottle for dosage instructions. You can also find them here.
The rule of thumb for our CBD is to use:
- 0.25ml per 10lbs of body weight, or 0.025ml per 1lb of body weight, or...
- 5mg of CBD per 10lbs of body weight (0.5mg of CBD per 1lb of body weight)...
So, to find your dog's dosage for the chews, simply multiply 0.5mg with their body weight. Each chew has 20mg of CBD. However, due to the difference in formulation - they are naturally not as bioavailable compared to CBD Happy-Furever Oil™.
- If your dog weighs 62lbs, simply take 0.5mg x 62 = 31mg of CBD for an effective dose.
- In this case, you can give 1.5 chews or 2 chews (each chew contains 20mg of CBD).
Start with a lower dosage (half a chew), and slowly increase as needed.
Some dogs find relief with a lower dose, and some might need a higher dose. Every dog is unique, and there's no hard rule. This rule of thumb is here to assist you.
If your dog has a sensitive digestive system or if they are facing digestive upsets/challenges - please read the CBD Success Guide For Dogs With Digestive Challenges.
Q) How soon can I expect results?
This depends on your dog. Some dog owners witness immediate results, and some owners with more anxious dogs require more time. As Happy-Furever™ is a natural solution, your dog's body requires time and consistent exposure to absorb the benefits.
Dog owners have seen their dogs enjoy better quality of sleep (healthy dogs should be sleeping most of the day), improved appetite, improved calmness, a healthier coat, and stronger mobility. Most importantly, anxiety symptoms fade away.
Some dog owners also reported their dogs becoming more energetic, social, and playful. These are all signs of vitality and your dog feeling their best. When you see these signs, know that it's your dog's way of thanking you for giving them happier days ahead!
Q) What happens if my dogs don't like the taste?
Well, this can totally happen! Just like humans, we may not like oil directly into our mouths. Some dogs may be averse to the scent of oils in general (remember your dog's sense of smell can be up to 100,000x stronger than yours).
The alternative to administering the chews directly would be to crush them, or break them into smaller pieces and have it sprinkled over your dog's food. This also could be particularly helpful for senior dogs that may have difficulty chewing.
But we must emphasize how important it is to give CBD a try in helping your dog's body. After all, our dogs may behave like picky kids. They don't know what's best - sometimes avoiding what's good for them, but you can bet they would finish that jar of peanut butter even if it makes them gravely sick!

If a doctor gives your dog vital medication, you will surely find a way to get into their system, right? So, someone has to put on the adult pants here. 🐶
So if you have a very picky dog, we recommend you start with a very low dosage to begin with, almost unnoticeable, and gradually increase with time.
If your dog still refuses to eat, our behavior trainer recommends using the 'gentle starvation' method, where you put their food down and wait 30 minutes. If they still don't consume it, pick it back up, wait 10 minutes, and put it back down. Repeat this process until your dog's hunger and primal instincts and they eventually consume food.
Just like kids, our dogs sometimes need discipline and for us to lead. So don't coddle or baby them when it comes to training and what's beneficial for them!

Frequently Asked Questions
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound found in cannabis plants. Happy-Furever's Full-Spectrum CBD, is a formulation that contains not just CBD but also a range of other cannabinoids, terpenes, and phytochemicals found in the cannabis plant.
The Entourage Effect:
- Happy-Furever’s Full-Spectrum CBD benefits dogs through something known as the "entourage effect."
- This effect suggests that CBD, when combined with other cannabis compounds, works more effectively than it would on its own. The various components of the cannabis plant work in synergy to enhance the therapeutic effects of each other.
- In other words, the full spectrum of cannabinoids, including a safe level of THC (below 0.3%), terpenes, and other cannabis constituents, work together to bolster the beneficial effects on your dog's health.
Dog’s Endocannabinoid System:
- Dogs, like humans, have an endocannabinoid system (ECS). This complex network of receptors (CB1 and CB2 receptors) and endogenous chemicals is responsible for maintaining balance and healthy functioning within the body.
- It regulates and influences a variety of physiological processes including mood, appetite, pain sensation, and the immune system response.
How CBD Benefits Dogs:
- When CBD is introduced to a dog’s body, it interacts with the ECS, specifically the cannabinoid receptors. CBD influences them indirectly and increases the levels of endocannabinoids in the body. This can lead to various health benefits, such as:
- Reducing Anxiety: CBD has been shown to help reduce anxiety in dogs, which can be beneficial in various stressful situations like thunderstorms, fireworks, or separation from owners.
- Pain Relief: It can offer pain relief, particularly in cases of inflammation, arthritis, or neuropathy.
- Anti-inflammatory Properties: CBD may help in reducing inflammation throughout the body, which is especially beneficial for dogs with inflammatory conditions.
- Supporting Neurological Health: CBD is also believed to provide neuroprotective effects, which can help senior dogs with cognitive dysfunction syndrome (similar to Alzheimer’s in humans) or help in managing seizures.
- Boosting Overall Wellness: By promoting homeostasis, CBD can generally enhance the overall well-being of dogs, supporting healthier joints, skin, and fur.
It's important to note that while Full-Spectrum CBD has potential benefits, it should be used responsibly and always start at a lower dosage before increasing with time, as dogs may be sensitive to oils in general. Always ensure the CBD product is of high quality and specifically formulated for pets to avoid harmful additives and ensure proper dosage (just like Happy-Furever, ensure there's a Certificate of Analysis).
(1a) Transmucosal applications or rubbing CBD oil onto your dog's gums.*
- Highly recommended for the best bioavailability & effectiveness.
- 15 - 60 minutes to take effect.
- *Works well because your dogs' mucous membranes absorb the CBD, so it goes directly into their bloodstream without traveling through their digestive system.
(1b) You can apply directly on the mouth after food.
- Recommended for bioavailability & effectiveness.
- 20 - 60 minutes to take effect.
(2) Apply directly on dog food - drop it on their food and mix it well.
- Recommended for picky dogs with sensitive digestive systems.
- Least bioavailability.
- 45 - 90 minutes to take effect.*
(3) Apply directly onto treat - trick or treat?
- The next most bioavailable option.
- 45 - 90 minutes to take effect.
(4) Rub Into Ears
- If you can't get them to take it orally, the next option is to apply the oil on the soft skin of your dog's inner ear.
- However, do note that this is the least bioavailable option.
Important note: dogs may be sensitive to oils in general, always start at a low dosage, and slowly increase with time.

If you are considering adding CBD Happy-Furever™ to your dog's health regimen and they are currently on medication, while it's safe to do so, here are some considerations to keep in mind!
Complementary Use:
- CBD is not a prescription medication; it is a supplement. Many pet owners have found it beneficial to use CBD Happy-Furever™ alongside their dog’s existing medications.
- It is crucial, however, to understand that CBD should not be used as a substitute for prescribed medications unless specifically directed by a veterinarian. With that being said, you can undoubtedly use CBD to wean off the use of certain medications like anxiety medication or NSAIDs (painkillers/anti-inflammatory medication).
Veterinary Guidance:
- Not all veterinarians may be fully aware of the potential benefits of CBD as vets are not allowed to prescribe CBD Oil as it's not considered a prescription drug, and many vets would rather just adopt a 'do no harm' approach to protect their patients and their practice.
- Therefore, when discussing CBD with your vet, it's helpful to come from a place of seeking guidance rather than expecting them to advocate for its use.
- This approach allows you to take responsibility for the choice while seeking their professional insight on how to do so safely.
CBD and Medication Interactions:
- Understanding the interaction of CBD with other medications is crucial. CBD is a known competitive inhibitor of the cytochrome P450 enzyme system in the liver, which metabolizes many pharmaceuticals.
- This means that if your dog is on medication, CBD could lead to the effect of 'potentiation', where the drugs become more effective, stronger, or last longer than intended.
- This can be beneficial as it allows for lower dosages, reduced side-effects and enhanced therapeutic outcomes due to the synergistic effects of CBD and medications.
Administration and Dosage:
- Always administer CBD separately from your dog's medications to avoid immediate interactions.
- This means giving them at different times of the day.
- Also, never consider CBD a complete replacement for traditional treatments, especially in urgent situations that require medical intervention.
To sum up, while CBD Happy-Furever™ can be a valuable addition to your dog's wellness routine, it is important to keep these considerations in mind, and should you want to approach your vet, always approach with the frame of taking responsibility so that they feel safe to advise you on how to proceed.
We have had many breakthroughs and case studies of dog owners using CBD Happy-Furever™ with their sick and ailing dogs that are on medication, and the transformations are amazing!
Well, the good news is that our oils have a natural bacon flavor to help dogs better enjoy the product. But dogs in general can be averse to oils and CBD, and it's totally normal!
So, in the rare event that they do not like it… Simply mix it with their meals or condition them to enjoy the dosage by rewarding them with a high-value treat after using the oils orally.
This way, they can associate the experience as a positive one. It’s 100% possible to administer the oil to your dogs, no matter how picky they are. It’s only a matter of training and conditioning. As dog parents, it's essential to understand that our dogs behave like young children and do not have the cognitive abilities to understand what's good for them.
You know; they hate going to the vet, eating medication, brushing their teeth, or doing any sort of grooming… But we all know how important this is to their health and well-being… You don't stop doing these activities just because they don't like it, right? And you know very well that they would devour an entire jar of peanut butter if they had the chance, even if they were to fall terribly ill…
You see, if your vet prescribed your dog life-changing medicine, you would do whatever it takes to get it into their system. That's the approach you should have with Happy-Furever™ if your dog is picky!
The good news is that with a bit of patience, training, and a 'delicious bribe', you can condition your dogs adapt to the new routine of using CBD Oil. If your dog has a sensitive digestive system, you can also mix it with their food.
What if they are not eating their food? You can use the gentle starvation method - this involves waiting until your dog is hungry enough to not be choosy, if they understand that they can't get away with not eating it, their hunger instincts will eventually cave into any discomfort. Sometimes dogs are afraid of new things, so don't be afraid to train and condition them to adapt!
Hundreds of thousands of dog parents have done it, you can too!
The benefits of using the oil far outweigh the temporary discomfort or aversion (if any) that they may face.
Of course, for non-picky dogs that devour anything and everything - this isn't really a problem! Remember - the hallmark of a successful dog owner is the ability to guide and train their dogs, don't coddle them!
This is a common misconception and sometimes people wonder if CBD can cause a high or if its legal. The wonderful news is when CBD is derived from hemp, it cannot cause a high, and it is legal in the United States under the 2018 Farm Bill Act and in over 40 countries worldwide.
Historical books record the use of CBD in advanced ancient civilisations, and even in Scandinavian tradition. It's only in recent years did scientific advancement help us rediscover the power of this miracle plant! Industrial Hemp Plants contain less than 0.3% THC which is what allows it to be classified as a legal substance in the United States.
Our CBD products are NOT derived from marijuana plants.
While hemp and marijuana are technically the same species of plant, cannabis Sativa, and you can harvest CBD from marijuana, hemp and marijuana have differing phytochemical makeups. What distinguishes the two plants are their CBD and THC content. Hemp has a high CBD content and must have no more than 0.3% THC. Any plant over 0.3% THC is considered a marijuana plant in the United States.
All Paw Origins' CBD products are hemp-derived, containing high levels of CBD, a diverse cannabinoid, and terpene profile with under 0.3% THC.
As the stigma surrounding hemp-derived CBD continues to lessen, there’s no reason not to try CBD for your dog. However, we understand why some are still skeptical because in many ways CBD sounds too good to be true. So, we'll put your mind at ease, here’s why you’d be making the right choice:
Reputable health organizations all over the world including the World Health Organization (WHO) have deemed CBD a ‘safe & effective’ health alternative for both humans and animals. It's well-tolerated even in high doses, and it has very mild side effects.
Both Hemp and Marijuana are species of cannabis plants, and while they have the same cannabinoids and terpenes, the percentages and ratios differ immensely.
In particular, Hemp contains very low amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), where Marijuana contains higher percentages. High levels of THC results in the euphoria associated with marijuana.
Marijuana has approximately 20-30 % THC vs. industrial hemp 0.01-0.3% THC indicating marijuana has one hundred to a thousand times more tetrahydrocannabinol than hemp, a significant difference.
Happy-Furever only uses the highest quality CBD extracted using an industry-leading CO2 Extraction Process, making sure that the raw crops are not overheated or overprocessed, keeping the plant's diverse array of cannabinoids available. Watch as your dogs experience the positive benefits within days.
Many of our customers that have experienced the biggest, fastest results go with the 6-bottle option, as it comes with the free gifts and it also allows them to use the oil on their dogs for a long time. The key here is you want your dogs exposed to the benefits of CBD Happy-Furever for a prolonged period of time.
While we believe you can still experience positive results with 1-3 bottle options, we know dog parents who are determined to make a change in their dog's lives and reclaim their dog's health and energy always go with the 3 or 6 bottle option because it saves them the most money, and it ensures they never miss a single day of Happy-Furever's powerful support.
Imagine for less than a cup of coffee per day, you get to unwind the clock and let your dogs experience the kind of energy, vitality, and happiness they used to back when they were puppies.
So go ahead and order your supplies, and once again - your order is covered by our 180-day moneyback guarantee.
> USA-Grown Premium Full-Spectrum CBD Oil Extract (1,000mg)*
> Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCT) Oil (Derived From Coconut Oil)
> Organic Natural Flavoring (Derived From Organic Ingredients)
Take a look around, and you will quickly find why our product is superior:
(1) Entourage Effect of Full-Spectrum CBD: Premium Full-Spectrum CBD Oil contains not just CBD but a range of other cannabinoids, terpenes, and phytonutrients found in the hemp plant. These components work synergistically in what's known as the "entourage effect," enhancing each other's effects and providing a more comprehensive therapeutic benefit than CBD isolate, which contains only pure cannabidiol.
(2) Benefits of MCT Oil as a Carrier: MCT (Medium-Chain Triglycerides) Oil is an excellent carrier for CBD due to its own health benefits. It's easily digested and can be used for immediate energy, supporting metabolism. MCT Oil also enhances the absorption of CBD, ensuring more of the active compound reaches the bloodstream, thereby increasing the efficacy of the CBD product.
(3) High Quality Yet Value For Money: Our 1,000mg tincture would be more affordable than other brands' 500mg tincture. In some cases, half the price of our competitor's 1,000mg version.
(4) High Potency & Effectiveness For Long-Lasting Results: Due to our product's higher potency compared to our competitors' less potent versions, you'll be able to use less oil each time. This translates to a longer-lasting product and a more robust entourage effect!

We understand that there are other products on the market that claim to help your dogs with anxiety, or inflammation. However, many of times these products are either careless extracted with low potency in each bottle, lacking the dosage that would truly benefit your dog, or some products falsely market when in reality there's no CBD content.
We combat this by providing you with an Independent Third Party Certificate of Analysis that not just guarantees potency but ensures there's zero contamination.
Our 1,000mg CBD tincture stands out for both its high quality and its exceptional value, offering a greater amount of CBD at a price that's more affordable than what many competitors charge for a 500mg tincture. Additionally, the higher potency of our product means that each use requires less oil, resulting in longer-lasting effects and a more significant entourage effect, ensuring you get the most out of every drop.
We use an industry-leading CO2 extraction technique that ensures our raw crops are not overprocessed or overheated, making sure your dogs get the 'entourage effect', something most brands don't do.

We have a recommended dosage schedule based on Veterinarian's advice This information can be found on the back of all our product's packaging. Different dogs (of different weight and sizes) would require different dosages.
The rule of thumb for our bottles is to use 0.25ml per 10lbs of body weight, or 0.025ml per 1lbs of body weight. OR 0.5mg of CBD per 1lb of body weight.
So, if you're using the oil - to find your unique dosage, you can simply multiply 0.025ml with your dog's body weight.
- For example, if my dog weighs 62lbs, I would simply take 62 x 0.025ml = 1.55ml
As you can see, the recommended dosage would be ~ 1.55ml. However, you can start with half the dosage and slowly increase your way to the point where your dog finds relief.
Access the CBD Happy-Furever™ Oil Success Guide.
So, if you're using the chews - bear in mind each chew has 25mg of CBD, so in this case based on your dog's body weight of 62lbs.
- Simply take 0.5mg x 62 = 31mg of CBD
- Which means your dog can take 1.2 ~ 1.5 chews.
Access the CBD Happy-Furever™ Chews Success Guide.
Some dogs find relief with a lower dose, and some might need a higher dose. Every dog is unique, and there's no hard rule. This rule of thumb is here to give you a framework.
Dosing is more of an art not a science. There's no hard rule on the exact amount. Different dogs react differently, but it's always best practice to start off at a lower dosage and adjust accordingly. Give your dog's body to adapt. If your dog is having digestive upsets, it's likely because you're giving them too much, too soon.
The response time to CBD Happy-Furever™ can indeed differ from one dog to another, as it is a natural supplement that dogs may need time to adapt to. Many dog parents have observed noticeable positive changes in their pets' behavior and well-being within just a few days of starting the supplement. Common early signs of the supplement taking effect include better sleep, a calmer demeanor, and an increased appetite—all indicators of a content and healthy dog.
As the weeks go by, further enhancements in your dog's health may become evident. You may notice a shinier coat, a reduction in bodily pains, and an increase in energy, evident from bursts of playful excitement like the "zoomies" during fetch.
It's crucial to acknowledge that, like humans, some dogs may require a longer period to fully benefit from natural supplements like CBD oil. Patience is key, and during this time, it's also important to continue reinforcing good behavior.
When CBD helps to bring your dog to a more tranquil state, it's an opportune moment to introduce new habits and work on phasing out any undesirable behaviors. Remember, while CBD can support your dog's well-being, it is not a substitute for consistent training and conditioning.
Keep an eye out for signs of improvement; sometimes, they may not be immediately obvious. Documenting your dog's journey with videos and photos can help you recognize progress that you might otherwise overlook.
Furthermore, improvements might be taking place internally, such as enhanced immune function or reduced inflammation, which aren't always visible. The absence of health issues can often be a silent testament to the efficacy of the supplement, reflecting your dog's overall health and vitality. So, while some benefits of CBD are seen, others are felt—a healthy dog is a happy dog, inside and out.
Absolutely not! It's not possible for dogs to get 'high' off our CBD as they contain less than 0.3% THC, which won't cause any intoxicating effects. However, your pup might seem a lot more relaxed, and might be sleeping more - which is a healthy sign! Keep in mind that young puppies and senior dogs should be sleeping for up to 18-20 hours of their day, while adult dogs sleep approximately 16 hours.
The lack of quality sleep can affect their health and anxiety in many ways.
CBD can make older pooches act ‘puppy-like’ and nervous young pups feel calm. The ingredients that makeup hemp contribute to a balanced mood, resulting in a sense of relaxation for your pet.
Research into CBD's effects on canine cognitive dysfunction is still in the early stages, but there is some evidence to suggest it may be beneficial. For instance, a study published in the Journal of Neuroscience found that cannabinoids could have neuroprotective effects, which means they may help protect brain cells from damage. This is a promising area of research for conditions like cognitive decline.
Specifically, regarding cognitive dysfunction in dogs, which is similar to dementia in humans, there is anecdotal evidence and some preliminary scientific backing that CBD may help mitigate some symptoms. This could be due to its anti-inflammatory properties, which may reduce brain inflammation, a contributing factor to cognitive decline, and its potential to support the endocannabinoid system, which plays a part in maintaining cognitive function.
Moreover, the carrier oil in CBD products can also contribute to cognitive health. Many CBD oils, including those for dogs, use MCT (Medium-Chain Triglyceride) oil as a carrier. MCT oil, often derived from coconut oil, has been studied for its potential cognitive benefits.
For example, a study in the "Journal of Alzheimer's Disease" showed that MCTs could provide an alternative energy source for brain cells that have lost the ability to use glucose efficiently, a common issue in aging brains and cognitive decline.
MCT oil is broken down into ketones, which are an alternative energy source for the brain and may help improve brain function in dogs with cognitive dysfunction. This is why MCT oil is often recommended for dogs with signs of cognitive decline, as it may help to support brain health and cognitive function.
If your dog suffers from cognitive dysfunction or if you're seeing signs of cognitive decline due to old age, we would highly recommend that you get them started on Happy-Furever™.
CBD Happy-Furever™ could potentially offer supportive benefits for dogs dealing with cancer, though it's important to understand that research is ongoing.
Evidence points to CBD's anti-inflammatory properties, which may help alleviate pain and inflammation often experienced by dogs with cancer. Its analgesic effects could make it a complementary option for pain management, potentially improving the quality of life for canine patients.
Additionally, the anti-anxiety and anti-nausea properties of CBD can be particularly beneficial, helping to reduce the stress and discomfort associated with rigorous cancer treatments such as chemotherapy. These treatments, while targeting cancer cells, can also lead to a reduced appetite and increased anxiety in pets, and CBD may help to mitigate these side effects, making the treatment process more tolerable.
Moreover, there are studies indicating that CBD might possess antitumor properties. Some laboratory and animal studies have suggested that CBD could inhibit the growth and proliferation of certain cancer cell lines. Although these findings are preliminary and more research is needed to establish a direct link between CBD and cancer cell eradication, they are promising and suggest a potential role for CBD in cancer therapy in the future.
Should you like to incorporate this treatment, and you'd like your vet's opinion - it's important to approach your vet from a place of seeking guidance rather than expecting them to advocate for its use. This approach allows you to take responsibility for the choice while seeking their professional insight on how to do so safely.
Not all veterinarians may be fully aware of the potential benefits of CBD as vets are not allowed to prescribe CBD Oil as it's not considered a prescription drug, and many vets would rather just adopt a 'do no harm' approach to protect their practice.
When it comes to using CBD Happy-Furever™ for dogs with seizures, there's some promise and hope here. The research on CBD for seizures in dogs is emerging, and there are indications that CBD may help manage seizure activity in some dogs.
In humans, the most compelling evidence of CBD's efficacy in treating seizures comes from its use in treating certain forms of epilepsy, such as Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Based on this human evidence, researchers are investigating CBD's potential anticonvulsant properties in animals.
A study published in the journal "Pet Behaviour Science" in 2019 observed that CBD could reduce the frequency of seizures in dogs with epilepsy when used in addition to standard antiepileptic treatment. It’s thought that CBD interacts with receptors in the brain that can influence neurological activity and potentially reduce the number and severity of seizures.
However, it is essential that dog owners do not think of CBD as a complete replacement for their dog's prescribed medication / medical intervention. If a dog is currently being treated for seizures, getting professional advice could be helpful.
Should you like to incorporate this treatment, and you'd like your vet's opinion - it's important to approach your vet from a place of seeking guidance rather than expecting them to advocate for its use. This approach allows you to take responsibility for the choice while seeking their professional insight on how to do so safely.

CBD Happy-Furever™ may be helpful for dogs experiencing pain and joint problems. The anti-inflammatory properties of CBD are of particular interest in the treatment of conditions like arthritis, which is a common cause of pain and joint issues in dogs.
Research suggests that CBD can help reduce inflammation and alleviate pain, which can lead to improved mobility and a better quality of life for dogs with joint problems. A study published in the Journal of Pain in 2020 found that CBD could reduce pain and increase mobility in dogs with osteoarthritis when given twice daily.
Moreover, the analgesic properties of CBD can contribute to its pain management potential. By interacting with the endocannabinoid system in dogs, which plays a role in regulating pain, CBD may help dampen pain signals, providing relief from chronic pain and discomfort.
CBD Happy-Furever™ could be a supportive measure for managing pain and joint issues in dogs, potentially offering them a non-pharmaceutical option to improve their comfort and mobility.
CBD is gaining attention as an alternative to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for pain management in dogs, particularly for chronic conditions such as arthritis.
Here’s how CBD may offer benefits in this context:
1. Pain Relief and Anti-Inflammatory Properties: CBD has shown potential for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. This can be beneficial for managing chronic pain and inflammation without the side effects that can be associated with long-term NSAID use.
2. Reduced Side Effects: NSAIDs can cause gastrointestinal, kidney, or liver issues, particularly with long-term use. It can also create havoc in a dog's digestive system, causing appetite problems and more... On the other hand, CBD is considered to have a more favorable side-effect profile - helping strengthen these very organs and improving appetite which are all signs of vitality, making it a more attractive option for long-term management of chronic pain and inflammatory conditions.
3. Synergistic Effects: CBD may have synergistic effects when used with other medications, potentially allowing for lower doses of traditional pain medications, which can reduce the risk of side effects.
4. Improved Quality of Life: CBD may improve the quality of life for dogs with joint problems by increasing their mobility and comfort level, allowing them to be more active and engaged.
Transitioning from NSAIDs to CBD or using CBD as a complement to reduce NSAID dosage should be done slowly. It's important that dog owners know that CBD shouldn't also be used as a medical intervention as it's not a prescription medication, and it should not replace your dog's medical intervention.
In summary, while CBD holds promise for pain management in dogs and could potentially reduce reliance on NSAIDs. Should you like to incorporate this treatment, and you'd like your vet's opinion - it's important to approach your vet from a place of seeking guidance rather than expecting them to advocate for its use. This approach allows you to take responsibility for the choice while seeking their professional insight on how to do so safely.

Yes! Our manufacturing process involves undergoing 3 rounds of quality testing at 3rd-party laboratory at both the batch and product level. We have strict rules when it comes to quality and standards.
When testing, if a certain element is off on that batch, we throw away all of it and start over. After the product has been through the whole procedure, the testing is over and the product officially has a Certificate of Analysis (COA), which ensures the safety of your furry friends.
You will be surprised at the amount of garbage and harmful ingredients there are in cheap, low-quality products being sold in the market. They are extremely damaging to your pet’s health, and more dog owners should be aware of the ingredients used. Our products have ingredients you can read and pronounce, and contain only the highest quality organic ingredients.
